These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of translation and interpretation services (“Services”) by Elman Language Services (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) to our clients (“you” or “client”). By requesting or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide professional translation, interpretation, and localization services in Somali, Arabic, Kiswahili, and English.

Services will be delivered according to the scope, timeline, and format agreed upon at the time of order.

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information and documents for translation or interpretation.

You are responsible for ensuring that submitted content does not violate copyright, confidentiality, or applicable laws.

3. Confidentiality

All documents and information shared with us will be treated as confidential.

We comply with HIPAA (for healthcare clients) and ensure interpreters and staff sign confidentiality agreements.

4. Fees & Payment

Fees are agreed upon before services begin.

Payment is due upon completion of services or according to the agreed invoice terms.

Late payments may result in suspension of services until payment is received.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds are available only for services not yet started.

Once translation or interpretation has begun, the service is non-refundable.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for scheduled interpretation sessions; otherwise, the full fee may apply.

6. Quality & Revisions

We strive for accuracy and cultural sensitivity in all translations.

If you believe there is an error, you may request a reasonable revision within 7 days of delivery.

Revisions requested outside the original scope (e.g., additional changes or rewriting) may incur additional fees.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we make every effort to provide accurate services, we do not guarantee specific business, legal, or medical outcomes.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our translations or interpretations.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota (or your state). Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
